He's the best underground wrap artis ever. He's latino and wraps a lot about political issues. Anyone know any of his stuff? If you don't but you like a lot of hip-hop check him out! Keep in mind though, some of is lyrics can be deemed offensive or might just test your contious a little bit. A lot of it is true about society. It's very real, unlike many wrap songs these days. Which is, one of the reasons I like his music.
lost girl, my name is John. I am a complete fan of imortal technique, and my favourite song from him seems to be "dance with the devil," which, as you probably know, talks about the life of a kid in the gangster thing, the whole drugs, and al that, and some people will actually do that!
I know, isn't that song just crazy? Finally someone who knows and likes im!
I love his lyrical style.
Brooklyn represent! (I'm pretty sure he's from Brooklyn anyway) I haven't listened to him, mainlybecause I'm afraid he'll shadder my perfect white world. I'm more attracted to indie rap even though most rappers who somehow gain an "underground" reputation can't stop complaining about how much "commercial hip hop" sucks. This guy sounds like he's complaining about something which needs to be complained about.
Of course by shadder I meant 'shatter.' or whatever
I'll mention A Tribe Called Quest and RJD2 to bring attention away from my horrible spelling skills (and to sound like I'm in the know). Yeah, those guys sure do rock. I know Immortal technique sounds nothing like either (RJD2 is instrumental and ATCQ are relaxed).
RJD2 isn't exactly instrumental anymore; his new album is pretty much indie-pop oriented. It's surprisingly great, though. Reminds me a lot of the Beta Band. And yeah I do like what little I've heard from Immortal Technique.
Oh yeah... his new album. I've heard a few tracks from it and I'm really anoyed. I never liked the indie music sound myself, and he isn't that good at replicating it, making it slightly worse. Oh well, at least there's still DJ Shadow... oh wait...
